Privacy statement

Woning in Spanje Kopen (hereinafter "we", "us") is responsible for processing your personal data as described in this privacy statement. We guide Dutch-speaking buyers in purchasing a home in Spain.

Depending on how you approach us, we may process:

• Contact details: your first and last name, email address and phone or WhatsApp number.
• Search profile: your housing wishes, desired region, budget, number of bedrooms, purpose of purchase and whether you want financing.
• Communication: the content of messages, emails and conversation notes that arise in our contact.
• Technical and origin data: IP address, device and browser data, and how you arrived at our site (such as UTM labels, a click ID from an ad and the referring page).

We ask you not to provide special personal data. Do not share these with us unsolicited either.

We use your data to:

• contact you and answer your request;
• search, select and propose suitable properties to you;
• guide you during viewings and the purchase process;
• put you in touch with our fixed mortgage partner (if you indicate you want financing);
• improve our services, website and advertisements and measure which channels generate leads.

We process your data on the basis of: the execution of or preparation for an agreement with you; your consent (which you can always withdraw); and our legitimate interest to provide, secure and improve our services. Where legally required, we ask for your prior consent, for example for certain cookies and ad measurement.

We never sell your data. We only share it when necessary for our services, with:

• our fixed mortgage partner, only when you indicate you want financing;
• developers or selling parties, insofar as necessary to arrange a viewing or purchase for you;
• processors who support us, such as our hosting and database party, our email and calendar services and our advertising partners (such as Meta and Google) for measuring campaigns.

We conclude processing agreements with processors. Some parties may process data outside the European Economic Area; in that case, we ensure appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

We do not keep your data longer than necessary. We retain leads and contact details during our guidance and for a maximum of two years afterwards, so we can still be of service. Data we are legally required to keep (such as administration) we retain for the legal retention period. After that, we delete or anonymize your data.

You have the right to view, correct, delete, restrict the processing of or object to your data, and the right to data portability. If you have given consent, you can always withdraw it.

Send your request to demy@woninginspanjekopen.com. We will respond within the legal timeframe. If you are not satisfied, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Our website uses functional cookies and, with your consent, cookies and pixels for statistics and ad measurement (such as the Meta pixel and Google). We use these to measure how our ads perform and how visitors use our site. You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser; functional cookies are necessary for the site to work properly.

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorized access. Should something go wrong despite our measures, we act in accordance with the legal notification obligation.

We may amend this privacy statement from time to time. The most current version is always on this page, with the date of the last change.
